Welcome to our new Associate, Natalie Weber & Call for Associates

We are very pleased to welcome Natalie Weber as our first Associate to IBC.


Natalie is a bat expert and works as an independent ecologist and research consultant. She has more than 15 years of substantial (field) work experience in Africa and SE Asia and has worked on a diverse range of projects in the environmental consulting sector, and for research institutions and NGOs.


Her expertise includes, but is not limited to, lead of rare species surveys, assessment of bats and their habitats for environmental studies in different sectors (e.g., EIAs), biodiversity conservation and monitoring, and state-of-the-art GPS tracking.


International Biodiversity Consultants Ltd (IBC) is still keenly looking to expand its network of local, national and international specialist and expert associates to support, collaborate and provide a range of technical professional biodiversity consultancy services.

Candidates should be involved in disciplines related to our services and value working alongside like-minded colleagues to deliver combined expertise. Such disciplines include:

  • – Ecologists (professionals and academics);
  • – Environmental Consultants;
  • – Social Consultants;
  • – Data and Statistical Analysts; and
  • – GIS experts
